thursday inspiration

I found this image this morning while searching for all sorts of inspiration and it's safe to say, I'm in L O V E.  It's a perfect mix of glam and traditional.
The gorgeous color of the flowers and how the match perfectly with the pillows doesn't hurt either.  The pattern mixing on the chairs and pillows are such a great statement that work on a neutral base palette.  I equally love the chandelier and super glam mirror.

a dramatic bed

I'm currently working on a master bedroom redecorating project which I've simply named, DRAMATIC.  The first thing my client told me was that she wanted a dramatic bedroom and it needed to have a 4-poster bed - yes and yes!  She's blessed to have the space for a large bed without it overtaking the entire room.

The first stop for my inspirations was to find rooms with 4-poster beds so I can start shopping!  Here's a peek of what I found.

Happy Sunday!  Eric and I are off to do a few wedding things!  Hopefully on the way back we will stop at the farmer's market and pick up some fresh flowers.

weekly favorites

I haven't done a list of favorites lately and my list is growing and growing!  Narrowing it down to just 6 was difficult!
After pulling my picks, as usual, I  noticed a theme - a color scheme.  Beiges, tans, neutrals.  I guess that's what's appealing to me right now!
I think my favorite might be the initials pillow.  I'm obsessed with all things monogrammed lately!

dark + light

Dark floors and light walls are always a favorite of mine.  When I finally have the chance to build my dream house from the ground up, that's the scheme I'll be going for!  I love the contrast, I love how classic it is.  It's clean and chic.  Since the palette is so simple, you can really work with it in whatever way you want....An easy backdrop.

We've been away and all over the place the last week and the dark and light inspiration is helping me settle back in to life at home - get cozy and comfortable.

Some gorgeousness to get you through this morning!  I love this room - not only is the bedroom gorgeous (love that mirror - so glamourous), but with doors like that, I'm in heaven!  I'm a huge fan of any indoor-outdoor space and this is just perfect.

To get back into my regular posting and not just basking in the glow of my recent engagement (eek!!!), I thought I would start with a house tour of this gorgeous California home!  This gorgeous home, featured in California Home + Design is the work of Chloe Warner and is a real beauty!
