spring tablescapes

I've been in the mood to throw a party at our apartment for a while now.  Spring is the perfect time to do so because we almost have more outdoor space than indoor!  My main requirement - lots of flowers!

These tablescapes are giving me some great inspiration to start the planning!

The pink really pops on this table.

Soft and feminine, I would love this as a Sunday brunch with some girlfriends.

Love how organic the below scape is.

Tulips + lanterns..all you need for a perfect setting!

gifts galore!

I'm surprised I haven't mentioned Joss & Main on my blog yet.  I'm constantly on the site, whether browsing for myself, looking for presents,  or searching for inspiration.  It's great to have so many different designs, designers and options in one place!  I also love that it introduces me to different products and design gurus that I might not have found otherwise.  I'm a huge fan of the Curator's Collections.  They always manage to find the most amazing people!
Back to the point of the post!  I always get excited when I have a to buy a present for a fellow interior design lover.  I run right over to Joss & Main and starting hunting for the perfect gift.
This week I have been looking for a present for a good friend who shares a passion for home decor.  Here's what I've come up with so far from what's on the site this week (maybe a few are for me - just a few!).

Which one of these would you like to receive?  Do you use Joss & Main as much as I do?  I spend half of my free time on it!

small details

My favorite thing about living in a small apartment is that I am constantly moving things around. This is great for me because I would rearrange almost anything every day if I could! Of course I keep the furniture in the same spot, but I love to move around my accent pieces and find different places for them. Sometimes I put things away and then swap them out for something else later on. This is a great way to keep things looking fresh and keeps me from getting bored with the overall look.
The little details in my apartment are always my favorite. I love to group different things together and see what happens. It's fun to see a table or bookcase transform with just a few pieces.
Here are my favorites in my apartment right now.

Corks that the bf and have collected since we moved in.

LOVE photo and picture of the Guinness we poured in Ireland.

Our initials!

Above our bed!

Bonjour cupcake artwork and gorgeous porcelain shoe.

Vase, pitcher, and candle grouped on a side table in front of a mirror.
The mirror and table were in different places but I moved them
together and love reflection of the case and the candle when it's lit.
The vase is from my brother's gf and is one of my favorite pieces in my apartment!

intrigued by chandeliers

Lately I have really been into chandeliers.  I never really saw many that I found interesting, but  I have been seeing so many different ones out in the market and in shops and restaurants.  I love the way they can completely change the look of a room in an unexpected way.

These are on the top of my list right now.

This is very cool.  The links are unique and interesting.

This one just might be my favorite!  Hello glam!
This would be perfect over a large reclaimed wood dining table.

I have been seeing versions of this everywhere and I love it!
Very industrial, but could look so amazing in the right room.
Industrial chic has totally been on my mind lately!

Love the traditional shape of this one.

This one is so fun and light with the perfect amount of shimmer!
I would almost want this in a bedroom.

I am thinking of where I can hang one of these because I desperately need one!

Do you have any in your house?  What does it look like?

e-decorating boards - now available!

I’m excited to begin offering e-decorating boards to the public!

Lindsey Anne Interior Styling is now offering the following services:

1.       Inspiration Board – I will help you jump start your decorating process!  We will have an initial consultation where I will ask for pictures, any ideas, inspirations, or thoughts you might have, and discuss an overall concept.  From here, I will create and inspirational mood board for you and offer some suggestions on furniture, accents, fabrics, paint, etc.  I will then send this over to you and we can discuss any questions or comments you might have!
2.       Full-Service E-Decorating Package – this includes everything you would receive in the Inspiration Board, but we will continue on and get down to more details.  Once I send over the initial Inspiration Board, we will discuss and make any changes necessary.  We will then discuss a budget and decide on what items you will be using from your existing room and what items we need to shop for.  I will then create a layout and give you a shopping list for all products we have decided on.  After this, I will be available to you for any additional help you may need in putting your room together.
A La Carte –
Organized Inspiration – Need help getting your things in order?  Let’s discuss what it is you need to organize and then I will create a board with products and creative solutions.
Re-Design on a Budget – Bored with your current space, but can’t afford to buy all new things?  Let me help you take what you already have and make it work better for you!  Maybe the perfect piece is in another room!  We can also look for great budget-friendly pieces – I always love a great deal!

Have any decorating or organizing related questions that might not fit into the above?  Send me an e-mail!  I will love to work with you on any related projects!

All of the above options are designed so I can work with you – wherever you are!  All services will be provided over e-mail, phone calls, and/or snail mail.

If you are interested in any of these services or have any questions, please e-mail me at LindseyAnneInteriors@gmail.com.

tracery interiors - lake home

While recently looking for lake house inspirations, I stumbled on the Tracery Interiors' website.  If you haven't heard of them yet, they are an interior design firm with studios in both Florida and Alabama and have a very impressive portfolio.  I was immediately drawn to so many of their projects, very rustic, classic, and chic.  Perfect!

All of their work is gorgeous, but this lake home in Alabama really caught my eye.  I love the aesthetic and the overall feel of the house.  It's cozy and casual, but airy and sophisticated at the same time.

This room is gorgeous.  I love the floor to ceiling windows.

The artwork behind the bed is a great example of how to use texture,
instead of color, to bring interest to the eye.

Perfect kitchen!  Both of the islands are great, and almost unexpected in the space.
The color of the legs adds a great contrast.
*All photos were taken by Jean Allsopp.

You can see the rest of the home and more of their portfolio here.

What do you think of this space?  I would love to move right in!

pastel inspirations

With Spring upon us, I've been looking for ways to lighten and brighten my apartment.  Pastels are a great way to do just that.  I love decorating with them because they're fun and girlie and I love introducing them after a long winter of dark, saturated colors.
Whether decorating an entire room with this scheme or just using as accents, pastels are a great way to transition into Spring and freshen up your space.
These are some of the images that are inspiring me right now.

a calming space

Whenever "NEW ARRIVALS" shows up on my favorite website or catalog I get excited!
Of course when I saw West Elm added some new products, I knew I was going to take some time to sit and enjoy! Their products are always spot-on with exactly what I want. It’s like they read my mind or something!
I've been so worn out lately trying to juggle a million things at once (details to come later!) so I took some time to sit down and pine over some great items!

Every piece that I was drawn to seem to have something in common, it read clean, crisp, and comfortable. With all the hustle and bustle I need a break to relax without any distraction or unnecessary clutter and that's what this space does for me.

This is the inspiration for exactly what I need right now, a cozy reading nook where I can unwind.

all above items from West Elm
How do you relax and de-stress?  What's your ideal calming environment?  I'd love to hear your thoughts!
