living room inspirations

Life has been quite crazy lately (can you tell..I haven't blogged in forever!).  We moved, we are in the serious wedding planning phase (less than 6 months to go!) and I've been so busy with my clients (good good!).

I've been doing a lot of work on client's living rooms lately and I've been looking for a lot of new inspirations!  All of my client's have very different tastes and styles, so I've been looking at an eclectic mix!
Here's what has caught my eye lately!

client work - dining room

Lately I've been so busy with wedding planning, packing to move and lots of client work!

We just put up this wallpaper up in one of my client's dining rooms and I just had to share it!
This is the first major installation in this house that we've done so far.  My client wanted to put wallpaper up on one wall in the "dining room" area ( i use quotes because the first floor is completely open-concept and the kitchen flows right to the dining room and then into the living room).  This was a great way to add a little bit of drama and interest into the dining room, without making too bold of a statement.  This wall also invites you into the home since it's the first one you see when you walk in.

Here is what the wall look liked before.  The paint color is a pale grey.

and the after!

Wallpaper was wrapped down the hallway.

We used this gorgeous wallpaper from Graham & Brown that has a subtle texture to it, which looks amazing in person.

Both my client and I are so excited about how it turned out!  Next up for this project, custom drapes, shelving and bar + dining table styling.

glam dining spaces

Sorry I have been so MIA lately - lots going on over here!

I have been extremely busy with new client work lately and thought I would share some of my inspirations for a space.  I am working with a client on making her dining room feel a bit more glamorous.  She originally used it as a play room for her children, but now that they are a little older, she wants to turn the room back into what it was meant to be and begin entertaining more!

Here is what we are looking at.

One thing is for sure, there will definitely be one beautiful chandelier in the space!

sunday inspirations - spring fever

I think spring fever is starting to set in for me.  Everything I have been drawn to lately includes brights or light and airy spaces.  Since it doesn't seem like we are going to be getting Spring weather anytime soon, I'm left to just pull some inspiration images!

sunday inspiration

One of my latest projects includes a client's living room / family room area.  We are trying to keep the space feeling casual and comfortable, while still looking put together, without look stuffy!  They want to be able to entertain in these rooms, but have people feel like they can just curl up in a seat and relax without being afraid to sit down!
We are also using a neutral color palette that will work throughout the house.
I've pulled a few inspirations to start us off.

grey wedding inspirations

Lately I've been spending my days surrounded by grey wedding details - putting together some fun proposals for amazing clients!
Grey works great as an accent color, neutral, or even the base of the palette!

wallpaper inspiration

One of my new client's wants to wallpaper and accent wall and I am so excited!  I have a lot of clients who are just now taking down their wallpaper that they installed back in the 90s and want nothing to do with wallpaper, but a lot of my "young couple" clients are willing to try it out as an accent feature.  I've spent the last few days looking for inspiration and ideas.
These are some of my favorites!

What do you think of wallpaper?  Are you willing to put it up in your house?

glam bathroom

Today I'm all about the glamorous bathroom.  I received an e-mail from a new client who is looking for inspiration to help "glam up" her master bathroom.  Woohoo!  I'm always excited to work on projects that include a bit of glitter and sparkle (even if it's just in the form of a chandelier!).  Here are some of the initial inspirations I pulled to see how she reacts.
