Today I'm all about the glamorous bathroom.  I received an e-mail from a new client who is looking for inspiration to help "glam up" her master bathroom.  Woohoo!  I'm always excited to work on projects that include a bit of glitter and sparkle (even if it's just in the form of a chandelier!).  Here are some of the initial inspirations I pulled to see how she reacts.

friday notes

Happy Friday!  Since starting my business and planning a wedding, Friday and the weekend really have no affect on me anymore.  Friday nights / Saturdays and Sundays are just as busy, if not more, than the week!  It's safe to say I work 7 days week and if there was an 8th day, I'd still be working.  So much to do, so little time!  Truth is, I'm better when I'm busy - I'm a better worker, much more efficient - so I guess it's a bit of a blessing! 

Anyway, I've started on a few Valentine's Day projects - a few client parties and some styled shoots - and now I'm in the red and pink spirit! 

Here is a sneak peek into the beginning phase of a few mock-ups for 

a client's Valentine's Day cocktail party that I'm working on.

yellow tablescapes

With this dreary, gross weather outside (snow, sleet, rain, slush - disgusting) focusing on yellow tablescapes makes me happy!  
Yellow brightens up any table, as well as any mood.  It's perfect for a spring party in the backyard or even a ballroom wedding, ranging from simple to over-the-top chic.

You can't go wrong with the classic look of black + white, especially in design.  This timeless look works in any room in the house and won't go out of style.  It can be formal or casual - or somewhere in between.

rose gold, blush + ivory - wedding inspiration

Color palette's rooted in rose gold are one of my most requested colors for wedding styling lately.  This trendy, updated take on the traditional gold is a great backdrop for a beautiful, soft wedding.  Here we paired it with blush and ivory to keep the look soft and inviting.

Happy Sunday.  These are a few things that are inspiring me for my week ahead - busy planning a client's dinner party, a garden-inspired wedding, and a few other styling events!

life lately

Life has been a bit busy lately - here's a glimpse into what's been happening with me.

Finally got the elephants up in a client's nursery - just waiting on a navy blue baseball hat for the little elephant! 

Styled a tiny home office - great use of space!

Styled a few mock place settings for a client's upcoming dinner party. 

Received a huge shipment of candles for another dinner party I'm styling!

Headed to the jersey shore with the fiancé and the pup(she's obsessed with the sand - which always goes well with her curly poodle hair....).  So much of the beach is still a mess =(

Pulling tons of inspirations + tears for a client's entire home decorating project!  Love interest, but there's nothing like working with actual pages and rearranging on your table!

Eric and I are getting ready to do a Blue Print Cleanse so we are starting to add a few green juices in here and there!

look i love - white bedding

You either love it or you hate it - white bedding.  I love it - whether it's clean and crisp or a bit ruffled and comfy.

Let me start off by saying I love everything about this room.  I love the color scheme, I love the lamp, I LOVE the sofa from Layla Grace. 

The client's contacted me because they were ready to turn their living room, that is currently functioning as an informal entertaining space / kid's area, into a more formal space. Starting from scratch (my favorite), we went with a cool color palette, adding in a few darker elements to keep it visually interesting, and from being too bland.
