inspired by turquoise

I love when I'm feeling uninspired and after getting frustrated, I put it out of my head and relax.  It's always then that something come from out of nowhere!  I was perusing through my favorite interior design blogs and I came across Turquoise.  The blog's author, Vanessa, is an interior decorator and furniture designer who's work I've admired for quite some time.  While catching up on her new blog posts I remembered that I had bookmarked a room she did that was featured on West Elm's blog.  I have been working on an mood board for a teenage girls room and this was a perfect inspiration that I needed to get started.  She used West Elm's niche nighstand which I love, especially the hardware detail.

This room is fun, stylish, and chic.  I love the fuchsia pop on the curtains and trim on the pillows.
 LOVE these lamps!

You can see the full featured article on West Elm's blog here.
Check out all of Vanessa's work and her website here.
