I saw this DIY hanging closet on Stylelist yesterday and was intrigued! I immediately thought that my boyfriend would be much more apt to hang things up if it was on reclaimed wood! While I'm not too sure I would enjoy seeing clothes hanging all over a wall in my apartment, I could see hanging accessories like straw hats and pretty baubles. This might offset the reclaimed wood and make it a little more feminine. Either way, it's definitely a unique idea !
Speaking of more feminine, I saw this super stylish DIY on the Deliciously Organized blog the other day. This is such a great idea for hanging your jewelry and is a cute statement piece on it's own! Read how to get the look here!
Do you have any DIY projects that display your clothes or accessories? I would love to hear them!
what a great way to encourage your boyfriend to hang things up!! that reclaimed wood is a great project. that necklace holder looks great too necklaces definitely have to be hung up or i would spend all of my life untangling them so i could actually wear them
ReplyDeletehaha, yea even he liked this idea! I hang my necklaces, too, this idea is so cute!
DeleteI have got to find a way to organize my jewelry, and I really like this idea! Everything I own is a tangled mess right now, but this may be my organization answer :)
ReplyDeleteHi Morgan! I know what you mean about everything being tangled!! Let me know if you try this!

DeleteI actually got a utensil hanging rack from IKEA & some 's' hooks to hang up all of my necklaces - seriously the next best thing since sliced bread! Finally a place for me to see all my jewelry and not have a tangled mess!

I REALLY really REALLY need a hanging place for my necklaces. Bracelets and rings are no problem because they don't get tangled but necklaces are becoming a major mess!
